SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Thursday (July 7), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,859.13 in early trade, down 0.19 per cent, or 5.54 points.
Around 102.6 million shares exchanged hands.
Losers beat gainers 69 to 68.
