SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Friday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,849.07 in early trade, up 0.18 per cent, or 5.27 points.
Around 27.9 million shares exchanged hands.
Losers beat gainers 60 to 57.
