SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Tuesday (April 11), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,176.23 in early trade, down 0.16 per cent, or 5.22 points.
Around 156.7 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 92 to 56.
