SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Friday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,835.82 in early trade, up 0.14 per cent, or 3.86 points.
Around 51 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 66 to 46.
