SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,867.01 in early trade, down 0.12 per cent, or 3.55 points.
Around 177.1 million shares exchanged hands.
Losers beat gainers 73 to 67.
