SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Tuesday (Oct 17), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3323.06 in early trade, up 0.12 per cent, or 3.95 points.
About 47.0 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 91 to 40.
