SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Friday (Jan 29), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,565.49 in early trade, up 0.12 per cent, or 3.04 points.
Around 54.4 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 81 to 46.
