SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Thursday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,779.86 in early trade, down 0.11 per cent, or 3.25 points.
Around 85.3 million shares exchanged hands.
Losers beat gainers 68 to 45.
