SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Wednesday (July 12), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,221.79 in early trade, up 0.09 per cent, or 2.99 points.
Around 35.5 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 62 to 47.
