SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Wednesday (June 1), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,788.85 in early trade, down 0.08 per cent, or 2.21 points.
Around 60.3 million shares exchanged hands.
Losers beat gainers 69 to 51.
