SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened 0.08% higher on Friday (Oct 7), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,887.42 in early trade, up 0.08 per cent, or 2.2 points.
Around 35.4 million shares exchanged hands.
Losers beat gainers 65 to 59.
