SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Monday (March 6), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,120.65 in early trade, down 0.05 per cent, or 1.69 points.
Around 84.8 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 79 to 55.
