SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Monday (July 31), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,329.37 in early trade, down 0.04 per cent, or 1.38 points.
Around 84 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 83 to 44.
