SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Wednesday (March 9), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,780.00 in early trade, up 0.04 per cent, or 1.23 points.
Around 158.7 million shares exchanged hands.
Losers beat gainers 77 to 61.
