SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Thursday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,791.19 in early trade, down 0.02 per cent, or 0.65 point.
Around 64.4 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 77 to 55.
