Pteris Global wins 3 contracts worth $64.2m

SINGAPORE - Catalist-listed Pteris Global, an airport support equipment and logistics solutions provider, has secured contracts worth a total of $64.2 million from customers in China and the US.

One RMB144.8 million (S$31.9 million) contract is for the design, supply, installation and testing of passenger boarding bridges (PBB) and ancillary equipment for the new Terminal 3 at China's Wuhan Tianhe International Airport.

A PBB award worth RMB119.5 million (S$26.3 million) was won for Terminal 2 at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport in China.

Pteris also clinched a US$4.3 million ($6.0 million) baggage handling system order for Phoenix Sky Harbour International Airport in Arizona.

The contracts will be progressively delivered in the 2016 financial year, the company said in a release on Tuesday (Oct 27).

The new projects bring the total value of its year-to-date contracts on FY2015 to approximately $110.1 million.
