SINGAPORE - Nanofilm Technologies International, whose shares took a hit following disappointing results and sudden management changes, expects to hire a new chief executive by the end of this year, said founder Shi Xu in an interview with The Straits Times.

Dr Shi, 57, who assumed the role of interim CEO in June, noted that this will allow him to focus on identifying suitable mergers and acquisitions targets that will enable Nanofilm to achieve the scale it needs to support growth projections.
