SINGAPORE - Heathcare firm MSD officially opened its S$8 million Global Innovation Hub in the one-north district on Tuesday.

The hub will focus on data science and cyber security to harness digital innovation for better healthcare.

MSD has opened two other global innovation hubs this year, one in New Jersey for the Americas region and the other in Prague for Europe and the Middle East region.

"The Singapore-based Asia Pacific hub is really part of a three-hub, global network that people can use to share ideas and best practices around the world in real time," MSD executive vice president Mr Clark Golestani said in a statement.

The opening was attended by Singapore Economic Development Board managing director Yeoh Keat Chuan.
