MC Payment appoints new directors, ending two-month boardroom tussle

SINGAPORE - Shareholders of MC Payment have elected five new directors nominated by controlling investor Ching Chiat Kwong.
The majority of shareholders - more than 70 per cent - at an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on Wednesday (June 30) backed appointing Mr Ching Chiat Kwong, his son Mr Shawn Ching Wei Hung, Mr Harry Ng Weng Sui, Mr Rothschild Chee Kheng Hock and Mr Tan Chee Keong as directors. The appointments take effect on Wednesday.
