KrisEnergy CEO Keith Cameron retires, interim chief appointed

SINGAPORE - Upstream oil and gas company KrisEnergy said on Friday (July 1) that its chief executive officer and founding director Keith Cameron has notified the board of directors of his retirement.

Jeffery S Macdonald, a non-executive independent director of the company since 2009, will take over as interim CEO of the mainboard-listed firm with immediate effect until a successor has been appointed.

Mr Cameron, 69, will continue as an advisor to Mr Macdonald, who will become an executive director.

Mr Macdonald was previously a managing director with private equity firm, First Reserve, with particular emphasis on the oil and gas reserves sector. Prior to that he was a founder and CEO of UK firm Caledonia Oil and Gas Limited. He was also a founding member and managing director of Highland Energy Limited.
