DP World looks to buy Singapore logistics firms; seeks more acquisitions across Asia

SINGAPORE - Logistics giant DP World is in the process of buying at least two companies here over the coming months – just two years after it relocated its Asia-Pacific headquarters to Singapore.

Mr Glen Hilton, its regional chief executive and managing director, told The Straits Times in a recent interview that the acquisitions will likely expand the firm’s Asia-Pacific operations in Singapore, including adding to its 70-strong head count and moving to more spacious premises.
