China Mobile joins hands with regional players for more cooperation

SINGAPORE - China Mobile, the world's largest telecommunications operator by market capitalisation, announced it has signed a memoranda of understanding with several parties including StarHub.

The agreement between its unit China Mobile International (CMI), StarHub and True Corporation, was made on Monday (Mar 21) at the CMI headquarters in Hong Kong.

The aim is to accelerate strategic cooperation between each other.

CMI is the the principal party in the partnership, and is supported by China Mobile Communications Corporation.

The partnership covers major scopes including enhancing the mobile business through global roaming cooperation and information sharing, and to create new business opportunities relating to innovation and internet of things.
