SINGAPORE - City Developments (CDL) chief financial officer Goh Ann Nee is resigning from her role to take up an executive position in a listed company operating in another sector.

Ms Goh's resignation will take effect from Jan 26, and the company said they have started an external search for a successor.

In a statement released Tuesday thanking Ms Goh for her contributions, CDL said she had been instrumental in the development and growth of the company over her tenure of more than 10 years.

Prior to taking up her role in 2005, Ms Goh was vice-president (finance) at CDL's hotel arm Millennium & Copthorne International.

Until a new CFO is appointed, Ms Yiong Yim Ming, currently senior vice-president for group accounts (subsidiaries and joint ventures), will handle the duties and responsibilities of the CFO's office.

Ms Yiong has been with the company for more than eight years working directly under Ms Goh.

Before joining CDL, she worked for 10 years at KPMG Singapore and two years at Ernst & Young Singapore.
