AXA Singapore staff queried on insurance contracts covering 11,000 taxis: Sources

SINGAPORE - Some employees of AXA Singapore were asked by the authorities to provide information on two motor insurance contracts the insurer had signed with taxi operators ComfortDelGro and Trans-Cab.

The Straits Times understands that the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) was alerted to a potential accounting-related issue and both contracts were flagged to the regulator.
