Mr Elvin Tan, business development director of Bestcoat Contract Services, which has obtained its first sustainability loan from OCBC Bank. The company will be working on a project to install waterproofing systems for Facebook's first Asia-Pacific data centre in Tanjong Kling.

The Covid-19 pandemic dealt a major blow to Bestcoat Contract Services last year as the firm struggled to stay afloat following months of being shut and having zero revenue.
Incorporated in 1995, Bestcoat, which specialises in installing waterproofing systems, has about 50 staff.
