What's a prospectus? It's a document issued by a company to give investors details of its share offer.
If you've ever had to read one, you know it's long, dull, riddled with jargon and often incomprehensible to the layman.
The Monetary Authority of Singapore has decided to change that. On Thursday (Feb 5), MAS issued its guidelines to companies on how to write a better prospectus by using plain English.
