SINGAPORE – Standard Chartered is the latest bank in Singapore to launch a recruitment drive amid a sector-wide hiring spree.

While Wall Street banks and tech industry giants are cutting staff, headcounts are going in the opposite direction in Singapore, with lenders growing their workforces and upskilling workers to develop their expertise in critical areas.
