OCBC to boost transaction banking workforce here by 50%

This is to meet evolving needs given the rise in Internet, mobile banking and API tech

OCBC Bank plans to ramp up the size of its global transaction banking workforce in Singapore, in response to a shift in the type of skills now in demand.

The lender aims to grow its 100-strong headcount by 50 per cent by the end of next year for the division, which also serves OCBC's other key markets of Malaysia, Indonesia and Greater China.
