Motor insurance claims are expected to rise now that more cars are hitting the road, but premiums will remain stable over the coming months despite inflation hitting a 10-year high in March, say industry experts.
Motor insurance gross written premiums fell 24 per cent to $280 million in the first quarter compared with the same three months last year, according to General Insurance Association (GIA) statistics seen by The Straits Times.
