SINGAPORE - DBS Bank unveiled its new learning centre called the DBS Academy on Thursday (Dec 10), with the aim to groom talent for Singapore's finance industry.
The 40,000 square feet centre is meant to be an innovative learning space that encourages creative approaches to banking in Asia.
Deputy Prime Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam and DBS chairman Peter Seah attended the opening.
An open house was held, with interactive booths, simulation games and lunchtime talks by DBS senior management and industry experts.
The bank also had a showcase for its newly developed consumer banking simulation branch.
DBS also said it would introduce a new programme where all employees who are senior associates or ranked lower will get $500 worth of DBS SkillsFlex credits for training courses.
