Rajan started his journalism career in 2005 at The Straits Times’ political desk. He was later a sub-editor before moving to the paper’s Singapore desk in 2020, where he helped oversee coverage of education and social news as well as parliamentary sittings. He is now deputy editor at the ST Now desk and helps direct coverage of local and international news breaks. He has degrees in political science from the National University of Singapore and London School of Economics and Political Science.
