Elise Wong

A journalist with ST Live, Elise brings real-time updates on breaking news and the latest developments to ST’s daily live blog. She started at The Straits Times as an intern, where she developed a fondness for figuring out the “so what?” behind stories of all sorts. Happiest when a piece calls for a little digging, she now puts that instinct to work at speed, full-time. Her other ideal forms of immersion are loud music and a lively mosh pit. Elise also appreciates unnecessary alliteration.
