NEW DELHI – Beyond the consensus building at the Group of 20 (G-20) leaders’ summit, where China’s participation remained crucial, a United States-led initiative to build a rail and shipping corridor from India to the Middle East and Europe could further deepen great power rivalries, said analysts.
The trade corridor is being viewed as a response to China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), which is in its 10th year.
