Sri Lanka to consider extending tourist visas of Ukrainians in the country

GALLE, SRI LANKA - Sri Lanka's Tourism Minister Prasanna Ranatunga said on Sunday (Feb 27) that his government will consider extending the visas of 4,000 Ukrainian tourists currently in Sri Lanka.

Dozens of Ukrainian tourists protested outside the Russian embassy in Sri Lanka's capital of Colombo, demanding that their tourist visas be extended following the Russian army's invasion of their country last Thursday.
