NEW DELHI - India’s tiger conservation programme has enjoyed considerable success in recent years. The estimated number of big cats jumped from 2,967 in 2018 to 3,167 in 2022, according to the latest tiger census.
Buoyed by this success, India is now keen to take its learnings to other tiger range countries.
