NEW DELHI - India has gifted a warship to Vietnam, will send a defence attache to the Philippines, and is charting out a defence road map with Cambodia, in what strategic experts said are clear signs of the changing contours of its defence relationship with South-east Asia due to the rise of China.
As India seeks to expand its footprint, deepening ties with Asean have come into sharper focus.
