BANGKOK - Thailand’s coalition government had barely one year to settle in before being thrown into disarray by a court ruling on Aug 14, which dismissed Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin and his entire Cabinet over what the Constitutional Court decided was a wrongful ministerial appointment.
Legislators will convene on Aug 16 to choose a new prime minister.
