PATHUM THANI (THAILAND) - Fresh from being elected as the leader of the new Future Forward party, auto-parts tycoon, Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit on Sunday (May 27) said he was ready to be the next prime minister of Thailand.
Mr Thanathorn, 39, whose nickname is "billionaire peasant" because of his outspoken stance against the military coup, co-founded Future Forward in mid-March with Thammasat University law lecturer Piyabutr Saengkanokkul.
