KUALA LUMPUR - Malaysia’s parties are finding novel ways to appeal to Selangor’s electorate, who are jaded with power plays and demanding more of their MPs after three years of political instability.
On Wednesday, the Democratic Action Party (DAP) candidate for Bangi, Mr Syahredzan Johan, launched his election manifesto for the seat. He had no handouts, but with his unique approach he promised to promote entrepreneurship, develop public transport and even look into mental health issues in the ward.
