WASHINGTON - Tuesday (July 11) morning cable news channels across the US were riveted to the epic rescue of 13 boys trapped deep in the flooded Tham Luang cave in northern Thailand.

"This was a historical show of humanity and unity," Dr Nalinee Taveesin, a former Thai minister, wrote on her Facebook page on Tuesday.
