Poor families at risk with no relief under Malaysia's third Covid-19 lockdown

"When they announced the third MCO, my heart sank, and I was angry too as my family is already struggling with unemployment and lack of income," she said.

Two of her school-going children have not gone to school since the first lockdown last year and Madam Aliana fears they may have to drop out entirely if the situation does not improve.
