BANGKOK - A new party will be launched by the remaining members of Parliament of Future Forward, Thailand's second-biggest political party popular among young voters, which was dissolved two weeks ago.
Scheduled to be launched on Sunday (March 8), the new party, now left with only 55 MPs from the original 81 due mainly to defections to the ruling coalition, will have a new leader - Mr Pita Limjaroenrat, 38, three years younger than former Future Forward leader Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit.
