February's military coup in Myanmar is unlikely to hamstring the crime syndicates, say experts.
"My gut instinct is that the coup will have only a modest impact," Mr John Lichtefeld, non-resident fellow at the Stimson Centre's South-east Asia programme in Washington, told The Straits Times.
