Indonesian rescuers were yesterday searching for a submarine that went missing with 53 people on board in waters off Bali island.
The authorities found an oil spill near the dive location of the 44-year-old submarine, KRI Nanggala-402, with Australia, Singapore and India responding to Indonesia's request for assistance.
Singapore's submarine support vessel MV Swift Rescue departed from Changi Naval Base yesterday afternoon.
