Malaysian police arrest man for allegedly taking selfies clad in daughter-in-law's underwear

A 52-year-old man in Malaysia was arrested after he allegedly wore his daughter-in-law's underwear and took selfies on Monday (June 11).

The Malay Mail reported on Tuesday that the man from Gelang Patah, Johor Baru, took photos of himself in sexual positions at his home.

The photos were saved in the man's mobile phone, the Malay Mail reported.

Police arrested the man, who is self-employed, at 12.30am, and seized a Samsung mobile phone believed to contain the selfies.

The man's daughter-in-law had made a police report after she saw the photos while scrolling through the photo gallery in his phone, according to the news report.

The 33-year-old was shocked to find that her father-in-law had worn her underwear to take such photos, said a police source quoted by the Malay Mail.

According to the police, the man had also been sexually harassing his daughter-in-law by asking inappropriate questions.

The man could be charged for insulting the modesty of a person.
