KUALA LUMPUR - Players in the poultry industry are gearing up for the prospect of exporting live birds again as chicken stocks rise in Malaysia.

Selangor Chicken Breeders Association chairman Idrus Zainal Abidin said it was about time the national export ban was lifted as many chicken breeders are on the brink of shutting down because of it.
