SINGAPORE - Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said he appreciates Singapore's role in helping Malaysia reclaim monies siphoned from the troubled 1MDB state fund.

"Singapore detected the money laundering at first," Malaysia's Prime Minister told The Straits Times in an interview on Tuesday (Nov 13).
