KOTA KINABALU (THE STAR/ASIA NEWS NETWORK) - A lorry driver is feared dead after his vehicle plunged into a ravine in Sabah early Saturday (Feb 10).
The driver, who was driving the palm oil-filled truck, is believed to have lost control of the vehicle before it plunged into a 90m-deep ravine at the Ranau-Telupid road, about 200km from Kota Kinabalu.
Sabah Fire and Rescue Department operations chief Khatizah Rahaban said the lorry burst into flames following the 6am accident.
"We are still trying to locate the victim," she said in a statement.
