JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo is reported to have asked for the swearing-in ceremony of his second term in office to be moved forward by a day to October 19.
Local media, citing leaders of the main volunteer groups which supported Mr Joko's re-election campaign who met him on Friday (Sept 27), said the change was due to practical reasons as the original date fell on a Sunday when people would prefer to focus on their own personal activities.
