JAKARTA – Indonesian police have uncovered illegal sales of firearms on at least two popular e-commerce platforms – some of which were falsely advertised as airguns to avoid detection – including one sale to an Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) supporter.
The two platforms are Tokopedia and Shopee, said the police. They are among the most popular e-commerce platforms in Indonesia.
